I’m Teri Dowdy, a passionate GIS systems consultant and full-stack developer specializing in geospatial workflows, enterprise SQL Server geodatabases, and spatial data visualization. I build both out-of-the-box Esri mobile applications and custom solutions using JavaScript and Python, with a strong focus on data analytics, AI automation engineering, and data governance. I help organizations streamline processes, improve data governance, and build better decision-making tools.
What I Do

- Data Management: Administer and automate large-scale SQL Server SDE environments, ensuring data integrity and performance
- Data Pipelines: Develop ETL workflows using Python and SQL for clean, well-structured geospatial datasets
- Spatial Visualization: Create interactive dashboards and maps using AGOL, Plotly, Tableau, and Folium
- Data Governance: Strengthen data standards, integrity, and lifecycle management for long-term spatial system resilience
- Mentorship & Training: Lead cross-agency GIS training initiatives and support collaborative development teams
